Review the Recycling Fee
A recycling fee of $18 per unit applies. Because mattress recycling is not covered by an environmental handling fee at the time of purchase (unlike electronics or tires, for example), this cost is collected at end-of-life to ensure responsible disposal.
Payment can be made by cash, debit, or credit at the time of service. Commercial volumes are welcomed.
Choose Drop-Off or Pick-Up Service
Drop-Off: Visit us at 771 Main Street (rear loading doors on Austin Street), Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No appointment is required. The $18 recycling fee is payable upon drop-off, unless other arrangements have been made.
Pick-Up: Book residential curbside collection for a standard fee of $65, plus the $18 per-unit recycling fee. Schedule through our online form or by e-mailing or calling our office. We can also easily arrange commercial pickups.
We Handle the Recycling
Once received, all mattresses and box springs are processed at our Winnipeg recycling facility, where components such as wood, steel, and foam are recovered and directed into established recycling streams. This process reclaims valuable material, supports local landfill diversion, and helps us provide meaningful employment opportunities through our social enterprise model. Thank you!
